Preparation/rehearsal phase cost (first 6 weeks) covers all of your tuition, housing, food, costumes, book & materials, choreographer, and local transportation.

Musical Theater Impact Tour
This school is an intensive, residential training course. It begins with a 6 week classroom and rehearsal phase. This is followed by 6 weeks of performance prep, dress rehearsals and public performances of a Musical. The MTIT emphasizes the call to use Musical Theater to, “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Curriculum:

We will Prepare a Musical for Outreach
We will perform skits and dances on outreach
Venue
The Rehearsal phase will take place at our YWAM Tampa training facility. The outreach phase will be in USA for two months.
We run a family style community YWAM Training Center. Our YWAM Tampa Staff family’s and the students all live together in 3 big houses on 5 acres in the countryside. Amenities include an above ground pool, tennis & Basketball court, bonfires, rope swings, bikes and canoeing nearby.
When schools are in session, we often have 20-30 people sitting down together for dinner and are one big happy family.
University credit:
YWAM Tampa’s schools are fully accredited with the University of the Nations (U of N). If you have not yet completed a DTS (Discipleship Training School) then please let us know so we can work out details of accreditation.
Theater Company:
At YWAM Tampa Bay, we are linked very closely with the Live Oak Theatre Company. They host 3-5 shows per year or more, with their 12,000 sq. ft building. They offer classes in acting, dance, voice, and instruments. This company now has its own non-profit status and is recognized as a Community Theater in Brooksville, FL.
Past Productions
In the past few years, together, we have produced shows such as “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Annie”, “Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe”, “Judah Ben-Hur”, “King David”, “Music Man, “Anne of Green Gables” , “The Little Earl”, etc. Our students have always had active roles in the productions, everything from acting and singing to sound and stage management.
Our graduates often go on to participate with the “Live Oak Theatre Company”
